Liz and Greg Shockley have over 25 years of culinary experience between them.

Restaurants, hotels, private homes, and national television are a few of the places that they have collectively worked.

After many years of working in restaurants,including Le Bec Fin, one of the elite 5 Star and 5 Diamond restaurants in the country, located in Philadelphia, Liz was a private chef for over 12 years. Greg worked in hotels in Florida before moving back to the Philadelphia area 5 years ago. Greg has a culinary degree from the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts, located in Pittsburgh, as well as business and marketing degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.

Greg is also proud to say that he is a local delegate for the Lance Armstrong Livestrong Foundation, for which he attended a summit in Austin, Texas with Lance himself.

Both Greg and Liz are very active, everything from running marathon's to a pretty serious Yoga practice. They love to travel and spend time with Greg's 12 year old son, James, who also has a natural flair for cooking. But James' real passion is baseball, he is a natural born athlete. Baxter and Kiki complete the Shockley family clan.

Their love for food and entertaining friends has brought them to the next chapter in their lives, Sage Catering, a labor of love for Liz and Greg.

Sage Catering is proud to have Curran O'Connor as our Executive Chef. Curran is a 2001 graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, in Hyde Park NY. He has been in the food industry for 11 years, working as a restaurant and catering chef. He brings to Sage his vast culinary experience, his creativity and his wicked sense of humor. When he isn't at Sage, he can be found spending time with his wife, Roxi,and their son, Aemon. You can also find him flying planes and helicopters in the area, so look up. Curran, Roxi and Aemon are proud to announce the newest member of their team.
Welcome Liam Augustus O'Connor!

Larry Ham is our Sous Chef extraordinaire. Larry has many years of cooking on his resume. He has 15 years of cooking experience, from local restaurants, to fine hotels. He is a very creative force, and he is well known by his tye dyed chefs hats. A true Dead Head!

Larry and his wife, Jeanenne, live on 20 acres in rural PA with their son, Mark, who is affectionately known as Bubba.

We are happy to welcome Darby Venema to the Sage team. Darby grew up in Souderton and is a graduate of Syracuse University with a dual-BA degree in Television and Film production AND philosophy. She worked for QVC for four years in their broadcasting department and also has ten years of experience in the food service industry. Darby is an avid mountain biker/trail runner/hiker and Yogi, and she brings to us her experience as well as her always present smile. She brings perfect balance to Sage Catering, and we are very happy to have her.

Pat Burns is our true Sage. A graduate of the University of Scranton, Pat has been in the catering business for many years. His ability to organize event's is truly unsurpassed, his insight of clients needs is unmatched, and his strength and dependability is extraordinary. And his knowledge of music is unstumpable! Pat is the glue that holds Sage together, and we are very grateful, and lucky to have him on our team.
